Cravings Suck!

I completely feel you! I had to go on a sugar detox I have been off sugar for nearly two weeks! Reading labels and all! during the holidays I over did the sugars big time, I don't dump so it is so easy!!!
So my next step is to lay off artificial sweeteners then I will allow myself a sweet once a week, I am a sugar addict bad!! I just can not control myself!!!

I haven't so much had cravings, I've more been just plain ravenous this time around! With my last pregnancy I actually lost weight in the first trimester and only gained 22 lbs the whole pregnancy. Well today I am up about 12 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight already! I have an appointment to try to get a little fill to see if I can slow this down!

I feel your pain, and the baby is now a year old! I think, for me, that I had eaten soooo good for sooo long that I gave myself the excuse to eat again once pregnant. Then after he was born I was nursing, so I had yet another excuse. Then when I couldn't produce enough milk I was in deep trouble. I am having stomach issues (migraine meds related- nothing to do with WLS) and back to eating like I should. I have finally wrapped my mind back into eating like a WLS patient and not a crazy person. I KNOW I cannot eat like a normal person, I know that when I eat more than 1000 calories a day that I WILL gain weight. But gosh, those few extra bites and those bad carb choices sure hit the spot. Sigh

LOL i so am feeling ya.....i made a batch of RKT Monday and they are gone now....AHHHHH....i made an appt with a dr that spc. in weightloss and nut. hoping to get me back on track and monitor my labs a bit more aggresively more than my OB as he is not ordering what i think he needs. I hoped that would put me back on my former healthy kick........well lasted about a DAY. It is driving me nuts!!! I am almost thru my 1st tri. and gained 3-5lbs i guess it's not bad but if i dont get the craving under control i am afraid i am really gonna blow up.

I wish I was craving rice krispy treats... sounds a heck of a lot better than the cupcakes I have been making myself sick over! We had a suprluss left over from my sons bday party and I cant seem to just throw them out so they taunt me everyday ugh.. I havent ever dumped and I have a way higer sugar threshold than I would like, especially being pregnant and able to eat alot of the wls no-no's with out consequense. Once this little sugar feind is out I am hitting the gym hard! lol
Since WLS I've only dumped a few times but since being pregnanct i'm WAY more sensitive to everything and will dump on the most random things. Went through this HAVE to have a cupcake or I'm going to DIE phase...yea that wasn't fun!! I feel ya on the craving junk, thought I was good with it not being so bad till I hit mid 2nd trimester then...everything I see...I want! Doesn't help that I live within a 5 min walk of every fast food place known to man. Going to drink my protein shake now....blah!!

CRAP has been my diet for the last 34 weeks!! Not even kidding....ALL I crave is junk food.....cookies are my killer.....first it was peanut butter cookies....then choc chip cookies....then it was the store bought choc and grahm cracker cookies.....and candy.....good Lord help me with the candy cravings!!!
Last night I would have done just about ANYTHING for a cupcake.....I did actually eat a banana instead so my tummy would be full and I wouldn't be able to eat anything....but that was probably the first piece of fruit I've had in.....oh......34 weeks....lol.....
My weight gain hasn't been too bad....I'm right at about 15lbs....and I keep justifying to myself....that 10 of that is fluid and increased blood....and that the other 5 is baby....so I havne't technically gained *any weight*....lol =)
This morning for breakfast...I had an english muffin with butter.... zero protien.....nada.....I did take my vitamins though!
